Boric acid is very effective for controlling fire ants. I also like neem oil for controlling them. Vinegar and lemon juice mixture is also good for killing ants.

ReplyDeleteI have had to deal with fire ants before and they are not fun. They caused a lot of issues in my wife's garden and kept biting my son and our dog. It got to the point where they even started coming into our home too. I had no idea such a little thing could cause such a big problem. Just really glad that those pest were taken care of and now I know what to do if they come back like they were before.

We have an ant problem in our home, but I'm not sure how to tell what kind of ants they are. They are really small and kind of look like little specks on the ground. Are those kind of ants dangerous at all? I live in an area what seems to have fire ants all over the yards, and although they're not in the house, I don't want to give them the chance.
